Shipping Policy

1. Delivery

The Castor Oil Goddess closely monitors all order shipments to ensure the safe and timely delivery of the order.  If you have any questions or concerns before delivery, please Contact Us.

Orders are shipped using a Courier Company.  The Courier Company will collect the parcel from our premises and deliver the package to the address provided by you at checkout of the ordering process.  Please ensure the address you provide is correct to avoid any delays.

2. Delivery Timeframe of order

If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within 5 business days from the date of your order.  We will send you the tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving our premises to the e-mail address you provide at checkout of the ordering process.  If you do not receive tracking information from us within 5 business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at info@thecastoroilgoddess.com.

Delivery takes place during normal working hours of the Courier Company selected by The Castor Oil Goddess.  Delivery will not take place on public holidays and weekends.  Should you require the package over a weekend, please contact The Castor Oil Goddess and we can try to assist as best as we can, which is dependent on the Courier Company’s availability.  The courier cost outside normal working hours may vary.

3. Receipt of package

The delivery address you provide should be an address where somebody you trust will be available to accept your order at any time.  Anyone at the delivery address can accept the delivery.  For us to prove that delivery of an order has been completed, we do not have to prove that you received the goods, but rather that any person at the delivery address signed for the delivery.

4. Type of Delivery

The cost of delivery is calculated via two methods:

Calculated at checkout: The cost of shipping will be calculated at checkout.

International orders: The Castor Oil Goddess will request a quote from the designated Courier company for the courier cost to be incurred for international orders.  The Castor Oil Goddess will email the international customer the pro-forma invoice reflecting the courier cost that is payable by the customer. The customer will be required to make payment and the payment will be required to appear in our bank account before the order is dispatched from our premises.

5. Tracking of the package being couriered

The Castor Oil Goddess will e-mail the tracking details to the customer.  The customer will be able to track the location of the parcel and the expected date of delivery using the tracking link.

6. Cost of Delivery

The cost of delivery will be calculated at checkout during the ordering process.  The cost of delivery will vary depending on the location of delivery.  

7. Customs and Duties

International orders may be subject to taxes and duties according to the delivery country’s customs policies. These fees are to be borne by the customer and are outside the control of The Castor Oil Goddess. The total amount due is specific to your order and at the discretion of the customs agent.  Therefore, we are unable to charge this at the time of purchase.  If you require any further information regarding import fees for your specific delivery destination, please contact us at info@thecastoroilgoddess.com.

8. Damage or Loss Package

The Castor Oil Goddess‘s goal is for your package to be delivered in perfect condition.  Should your package be damaged during transit after leaving our premises, please follow these steps: 

8.1 Inspect the package for any visible damage in the presence of the Courier Delivery Person.
8.2 Take a photo of the damages and e-mail info@thecastoroilgoddess.com.
8.3 Keep all boxes and packaging.
8.4 Report the damage/s to the Courier Delivery Person and the Courier Company.
8.5 Contact us about the damages within 24 hours of delivery.
8.6 Insured orders that are lost or damaged cannot be replaced until the claim has been paid.
